Frontier Economics: Winter Internship
Frontier Economics’ Winter Internships (Sydney & Melbourne) applications opened on Tuesday 1 April.
Frontier Economics provides economic consulting services to public and private sector clients across a range of industries and sectors, including energy, climate change, telecoms, transport, water, natural resources, and financial services. Working on some of the world’s most important issues.
Their interns have supported projects including helping WWF-Australia develop its Tree Scorecard, looking at the environment impacts of EVs, benchmarking tariffs and assisting the airline industry in mapping a path toward 2050 net-zero emissions targets.
Please ensure you meet the following compulsory requirements for the internship program before applying:
Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident in Australia, at the time of applying for the program
Currently studying in a second-year bachelor degree with majors in economics, econometrics, business analytics or finance, and with strong academic results
Have your own living arrangements for the course of the internship in Sydney or Melbourne

Bloomberg Academy in Sydney is an early insights program designed for students currently in university with limited finance background, graduating between September 2025 and August 2026, and who are passionate about pursuing a career in Bloomberg Analytics and Sales roles.
The Academy is a 4-day program, where you will be immersed in a varied array of topics, people and activities. J.P. Morgan Markets Sales Case Competition
Step into the dynamic world of financial markets with the J.P. Morgan Markets Sales Case Competition (JPMMSCC). This is more than just a competition; it is an opportunity to join us for a fun, interactive, and professional learning experience that could be your gateway to a career in global finance. JPMMSCC invites students to experience the thrill of working as a Sales Analyst in Markets through a hypothetical case study. Compete individually to develop concise trade ideas in both Equities and Macro (Fixed Income or Foreign Exchange). Subsequently, trade recommendations will be assessed by the J.P. Morgan Markets Sales Team.
Prize: Winner will be prioritized for final round interviews in our Australia Markets Sales Summer Internship. (Winner will still need to formally apply for the role and meet the eligibility criteria and minimum requirements of the role to be considered for an internship). All final round participants will receive a mentoring session from a JPM Markets employee.
Eligibility: Students enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in their penultimate year, graduating between April 2026 and December 2026, from universities located in Australia.
